Description
This V-Block barrel retainer attaches to the Ruger 10/22 receiver and stabilizes the barrel against the receiver shoulder, eliminating the droop and side-to-side play that can show up after a barrel swap or repeated takedowns. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished matte black, the retainer mounts with two hex screws and ships with the Allen wrench needed to install.

Install: Remove the factory barrel-band retainer, drop the V-Block into place against the barrel journal, and torque the two hex screws evenly to seat the barrel against the receiver. Recheck point of impact after the first 25 rounds — a properly tensioned V-Block typically tightens groups noticeably versus the factory wedge.
Pair with an aftermarket bull or fluted barrel and a bedded stock for a complete accuracy package on bench guns or rimfire trainers.
