Used/excellent Merkel Safari .500 Nitro Express double rifle with 23.5″ barrels, extractors-only, checkered quarter rib bearing notched rear sight with one standing leaf and one folding, black blade front sight, European sling swivels, partial-coverage scroll engraving (Cape buffalo motif on action bottom) over scalloped-back action, action-mounted cocking indicators, double triggers, Merkel-logo buttplate, Greener cross bolt, Purdey double underbolt, sideclips, crossbolt reinforcement through head of stock, and oil finish over straight-grained European walnut. Weight is 10lbs, 6oz.
Mechanical condition is outstanding. Lockup is tight with barrels firmly on-face. Barrel bluing is excellent. Silver action finish is fully intact. Bluing on trigger guard, safety, and top lever are fully intact—indicating very little use. Comes complete in factory case.
