The Faxon 16″ Gunner Profile 5.56 NATO AR-15 barrel is a hybrid of the Government and Pencil profiles — Govt durability and dwell where it matters with Pencil weight savings up front. The result is a barrel that swings faster on transitions and runs longer in carbines used for training, defense, or duty.

Build pairing: drops into any mil-spec AR-15 upper with a low-profile gas block sized for .750″ journal. Pair with a quality mid-length gas tube and 16″ handguard. For a quieter setup, the 1/2×28 muzzle accepts standard 5.56 brakes, flash hiders, or suppressor mounts.
Headspace is set at the factory. Run a 100–200 round break-in with quality ammunition and re-check torque on the barrel nut after the first range trip.
